RELIGIOUS SCHOOL

Rabbi Arnie conducts religious school with children during his weekends in Traverse City. In addition, parent-led programming occurs in between those visits to provide educational and cultural experiences.

Additional religious school programming is available through the L'Dor v'Dor Consortium. This programming includes a monthly online learning session facilitated by a Consortium Educator; a bi-montly in-person site visit facilitated by a Consortium Educator; scripted lesson plans available for congregation members to adapt or use as is; and online beginning Hebrew for 4th through 6th grades. L'Dor v'Dor is a group of six congregations from Northern Michigan and Northern Ontario whose leadership team meets to share resources, plan shared events, learn from each other, and enhance the Jewish experience of its members.
